Welcome to the erotic world of J.W. McKenna. Here you can find stories that resonate with that secret part of you that both thrills and scares you. Some of you want to dominate, to be in charge of your love life despite our constricting PC world. Others want to submit and feel the loving swipe of the lash. But there’s a fine line to tread and reality is often much more frightening than imagination. In my books, you can explore relationships that run the gamut from a loving couple tentatively exploring BDSM for the first time to outright sexual blackmail.
I write stories for both sexes because I believe that women can enjoy a good naughty read as well as men. They might find a part of themselves in my female characters, even though they may not admit it aloud. And my male characters are real men, although they may be beset by the same demons that all men wrestle with.
I began writing erotic romances for Ellora’s Cave Publishing, which still has several of my early works. While I enjoyed creating plot lines and characters, the requirement that all stories end “happily ever after” did not always agree with me. Life tends to throw us curves. Later, I began writing more male-oriented stories that can be found at a variety of publishing houses, including Amazon. Today, I write a combination, sometimes writing a love story with some light BDSM, other times a down-and-dirty book that leaves men – and some women – saying, “Hell yeah!”
